About the Innkeepers

In 1984, Dr. Gary & Robbie Lamarr moved with two children to the small community of Soda Springs to purchase a dental practice. In a short time we added two more children to the family and began our lives in Soda. After 32 years in the dental practice we have decided to retire.

Becoming Innkeepers

We have been very active in the community, serving on committees, coadching ball teams, participating in craft shows, community plays, teaching art lessons and various business ventures in Soda Springs. We are active members of the Order of the Eastern Star, Masons and Shriners. Gary was President of the Idaho State Dental Association and was very active in the American Dental Association. We are members of the Presbyterian Church of Soda Springs. In December, 2015 Gary and Robbie retired from dentistry and have really gotten into being host and hostess at the Bed & Breakfast.

Making Largilliere into a Bed and Breakfast

We were always attracted to this home and when it became available in 1990 we purchased it. At that time we built an addition to accommodate a commercial kitchen. A restaurant had been in operation for most of that time but Robbie was inspired to make this home into a Bed & Breakfast. In April 2012 the dream began. We have striven to maintain the charm and integrity of the home for all time. The restorations have taken about 15 months to complete. We are finally proud to open our doors to all who wish to enjoy the history of this amazing home and to become our friends.
